Com o objectivo  de criar \u201cbolhas de ar limpo\u201d, a maior torre purificadora de ar do  mundo vai ser instalada em v\u00e1rios jardins de Pequim.<\/p>\n<p> A ideia partiu de Daan Roosegaarde, artista pl\u00e1stico, quando em 2014  viajou at\u00e9 \u00e0 capital chinesa, e ficou impressionado com a polui\u00e7\u00e3o no  ar. A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.studioroosegaarde.net\/projects\/#smog-free-project\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Studio Roosegaarde<\/a>,  com sede em Roterd\u00e3o, Holada, em parceria com investigadores da \u00e1rea do  ambiente criaram um projecto-piloto para estudar formas de tornar o ar  mais limpo.<\/p>\n<p> Ao usar tecnologia de i\u00f5es, a torre purificadora de ar atrai e  captura as pequenas part\u00edculas de polui\u00e7\u00e3o atmosf\u00e9rica e liberta o ar j\u00e1  limpo. \u201cA \u00e1rea em redor fica at\u00e9 75% mais limpa\u201d, revela o inventor.<\/p>\n<p>\n Testes feitos em Roterd\u00e3o tiveram resultados surpreendentes. \u201cPor  alguma raz\u00e3o, os pequenos coelhos achavam o espa\u00e7o em torno da torre  particularmente intrigante. Talvez eles consigam sentir a diferen\u00e7a.\u201d,  diz Roosegaarde em declara\u00e7\u00f5es \u00e0 <a href=\"http:\/\/money.cnn.com\/2016\/07\/01\/technology\/smog-free-tower-china\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">CNN Money<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p> Roosegarde e a sua equipa descobriram tamb\u00e9m um novo uso para o  material recolhido pela torre: joalharia. Tal como acontece na natureza,  em que os diamantes surgem atrav\u00e9s de carbono comprimido, a torre  recolhe as part\u00edculas de ar polu\u00eddo e leva-as a altas temperaturas.
